I like the trade for the Yankees, adding a premier outfielder to an already great team. I also LOVE the trade for Detroit, adding Scherzer, Jackson Coke and Schlereth.

Scherzer will be very good ( question is health )

Austin Jackson could very well be a stud ( lets hope )

Coke and Schlereth are quality arms and Schlereth has closer stuff..

Granderson is going to me a monster in the Bronx. I think his value was (pre-trade) down a bit from where it should have been due to a strange year in '09, where he swung for the fences at the expense of his OBP.

His *ceiling* while playing half his games in the new Yankee Stadium is crazy... think .340/.390/.590... though he'll more likely settle closer to the where he was 2 years ago, with more pop. Add in around 25 homers and 15-20 steals to boot.
