Remeber this guy? It wasn't too long ago he was a can't miss catching prospect in the Seattle organization. Well... he missed. Or did he? After a late-season trade to the Pirates, he's slated to be a full-time 1B going forward, obviously making it tougher still for him to make a fantasy impact in the land of Howards, Fielders and Gonzalezes... oh my. But, take a look at his numbers from last year. In 536 PA in AAA, he hit .274/.354/.496, with 21 long balls. And, while it seems he's been around forever, he's just 26 years old. Remeber his name in the late rounds of your draft next year.

He's in Pittsbugh now... I bet the Mariners wish they had hung on to him. His defense has always been a bit supect behind the plate. Playing 1B will hurt his fantasy value... BUT I think he has the bat to evantually be an above-average 1B. His ceiling is probably Joey Votto-ish, though that may be aiming a little high. :-)

"Long over due" does not even come close to describing the Bucs. They'll find a way to screw it up, of course. Not saying Clement will be Votto, BUT I'd say he has that kind of ceiling. Still, man would I love to see him end up behind the dish again! Calling a game, Schmalling a game!
