..Does anyone check these forums much? D:
Well, anyways, my other two teams are doing alright, 2nd of 16/5th of 10, but I\'m dead last in this 12-man standard roto league. 1R (333) 3HR (88) 2RBI (340) 2SB (45) 3AVG (.261) 8W 7SV 9K 4ERA 4WHIP I recently jumped from about 30 to 43 now, because my pitchers are starting to come around. J.A.Happ, Verlander, Nolasco, Millwood, Carpenter, Floyd - Cordero, Nunez, Feliciano. ...maybe I need more RP? Danks and Pavano are FA, along with a lot of RP. However, I cannot move up at all in hitter cats, although I\'m really close to a lot of them.. C-Ianetta 1B-Adam Laroche 2B-Alexei Ramirez 3B-Aubrey Huff SS-Asdrubal Cabrera OFx3-McCutchen, Kubel, Choo Util-Brian Roberts rotated in/out-Soriano, Barmes Also Josh Hamilton on DL, taking him first round..sigh. I\'ve made a few moves, mostly..bad decisions. ie dropping tulo/soto, but hey, I had no idea they would rebound like this. So, I\'d like to know especially where this team seems..weak? Or just hold on and hope I can catch up slowly. I\'ve already jumped like 14 points..I\'m also really not good at finding FA at all ): |

Honestly, you are in trouble. Across the board you have early 30\'s players with little upside left and declining trade value or disappointments. There is some potential but it is shakey in guys like Iannetta. There is a ton of work to do. We would need to see your FA\'s.
How many do you keep? I\'m surprised you would drop young guys like tulo and soto in a keeper. One year I understand. YOu have to be careful to look at the longrun in baseball and especially in keepers. Look at BJ Upton as a great example.

Also, this team would be a good job for ian@dobberbaseball.com
There would be a lot for him to analyze in his next Expert\'s Audit.

Mahh badd. But yeah, it seems a lot of the FA players are OF...Drew, Sheffield, Cust, Hairston, M. Cabrera Morales, Swisher, Jose Lopez, Nik Johnson, Teahen for 1B Izturis is 2B, 3B, SS. Ian Stewart is 2B, 3B. I don\'t really know what I\'m looking for D: What categories are usually easier to climb up in? R? SB? |

Pick up Danks ASAP, and drop Feliciano. Danks should not be on the wire.
You\'re in desperate need of power as well. I\'d look into trading Roberts for a big bat.

...Can someone move this to one-year? D:
I\'ve also gone up two more points today - now at 46.5, no longer in last place! 3R (346) 4HR (92) 4RBI (358) 2SB (47) 3AVG (.263) 8W 6.5SV 8K 4ERA 4WHIP 4 more K = back to 9. I still need help though, especially with speed/power/all hitting stats. Not especially worried about pitching, they should be fine. It should get harder to keep going up now.. |
