Like Status mentioned in the ramblings, Washington indeed offered him 8 years at $20 mill per season... according to Kenny Rosenthal, Boston has countered with 10 years at $20 million per... geeeez.. can the US government borrow money from the MLB?

If the red sox offer is real, I don\'t see how Tex is not in Boston next year. Poor Rays. First Yanks with CC and now possibly red sox with Tex
