So I traded away several of my good prospects this year to help me repeat in my $$$ dynasty in sig, I have the 7th and 8th overall picks this summer and would like to re-stock the cupboards as they say.. one of these two should be available at my pick (one of the picks i will be using on a dman), who do you prefer? Both are fine prospects but isn't Forsberg a multi-cat guy? He might be a better fit in your setup.

Who are you looking at as far as dmen go? It would take a pretty good dman prospect to turn me away from these two if they're both available. Positions should not matter in your draft. Go with BPA.

For dmen I am targeting the one that I really like from this years draft class plus Schultz plus one other that will remain nameless haha.. As most of my league members are on this site i'd rather not shed too much light on my draft strategy as you can prolly tell. Also I am looking more at filling team holes than BPA as my offense and goaltending is pretty strong, but I am lacking defensive depth (especially after trading buff away earlier this year).

Forsberg is one of the few prospects I know nothing about, and it's tough to peg where he'll go in the draft but I'm guessing his situation won't be worse than baertschi's in Calgary

This may be true, but our draft will have some other players (lupul, parenteau, mike smith , Brian Elliot) that makes it tough to know who goes where.. Add in the cap constraints that many teams face and a guy like Schultz could go anywhere from #3 to #10 IMO.
