I wouldn't expect anything more then the 5 game suspension Keith received for his Elbow on Sedin.

Keith retaliated and elbowed Sedin directly in the head while there was no puck at all

Torres hit was dirty no doubt and he jumped so a suspension is coming, but it was a late hit (.83) according to Mckenzie. The puck was there and initial point of contact is not directly to the head.

Heard some reports on twitter that it's a broken jaw and he's out for the playoffs, but that would make "talking with paramedics the whole time" as others have said, rather painful, would it not?

Anybody know if this is true?

That's the word so far yea, but nothing confirmed. Hawks have only stated that he's left the hospital and went home on his own power and will fully recover in a timeframe not yet known.

I broke a guy's jaw and his orbital bone years ago, and after he regained consciousness, he was able to speak decently, although he was in a lot of pain. He was talking, though.

By "talking with paramedics" it doesn't mean he's saying much. Probably more nodding and hand gestures at this point.
