You get 3 choices in the end but they're pretty similar. There is an extra tidbit to the ending if you play the online multiplayer portions of the game to improve your readiness rating (it only goes so high by finishing the campaign stuff), and you need to be above a certain level to get the extra scene. I just went on Youtube to watch all the alternatives after, I couldn't bring myself to play through the game again for the other choices since the ending was so dissapointing.

The controversy is that the 3 "choices" are pretty much the same which is a letdown when given a choice.

I was very disappointed in the ending due to how developed the story and emotions in it were, and the ending was not satisfying at all. You want a sense of triumph at the end of such a long and great story, but none of the endings will deliver that. Can't really say more about that without spoiling the story.

I found that if you did not use the default character face in ME3, some of the facial expressions look really wierd.

ME3 I found alot faster to play through than ME2, they streamlined it even more to be more FPS than RPG, so more time shooting, less time staring at equipment loadouts.

I'm going to agree mostly with you here, but at the same time...I'm not sure I needed a triumphant victory. All three endings were similar in that they weren't likely anything the player, or Shepard, wanted. They each differ significantly depending on the details, but since the game glosses over the consequences for each, and shows a similar cinematic sequence afterward, people perceive them as similar endings. There are similarities, but the consequences would vary.

But at the same time, it makes sense that there's no conventional way to defeat the reapers, so there shouldn't just be conventional sacrifices. Won't say more in case some spoiler could be derived from this.

I just wish the cinematic after your decision made more sense, I wish you could challenge the limit of three decisions, and I wish more clarification would be made on each decision.

Hrm. I spent around 25-30 hours in my playthroughs in ME3, and 15-20 in ME2. I found ME2 was a significantly quicker game to finish, even doing the majority of the sidequests and doing a perfect run. I just finished a perfect run in 18 hours. ME3 will probably clock in around that time mark or maybe a bit longer now that I really know what I'm doing.

Tell me about it. I had to pause the game at certain points, and allow myself some time to figure things out. I'm reluctant to admit that I even restarted the game at one point, because I couldn't handle how one decision panned out... A little cheesy of me to do that, perhaps, but it sure speaks to how good the story is in this game, that I cared enough to do that.
