I know its a bit early but who would you target for ONLY next season, Miller or Ward? Scoring cats are Wins, GAA, and SV%.
Its my team in sign. I can protect Quick next season and need to add a second (Rinne is unprotectable, he is back in the draft). Basically looking at a dark horse to have a bounce back season. Cheers, Spoiler

Miller! Already showed bounce back later in the 2nd half of this season.
I also expect a bounce back season w/ Sabres dcorps ie.Myers, Ehrhoff, Regehr and company.

Yeah I'd go with Miller as well... It wasn't entirely his fault that the Sabres underachieved this year. He was lights out the 2nd half despite playing an average first half.
The team doesn't appear that it'll change much from the 2nd half team that they iced, Canes still don't look like a deep team if they keep it the same as the 2nd half of this season. Miller for me.

I wanted to bump this thread given some of the changes each team has made since the free agent frenzy.
So same question, who would you rather have for next season Ward or Miller?

Quote:
But I think Sabres will be one of the rebound teams this year. A healthy, more consistent Miller. A more solid/intact forward group, stable dmen corps, and the addition of Ott to add grit/character/compete level..Sabres wont be pushed around as easy any more. It will be close, there will be some growing pains in front of both goalies..but Im going to stick w/ my guns and entrust Miller over Ward on this one.

As a biased Ward owner I will still say Miller for you.
In my league where saves count, I'll take Ward over Miller, but with your cats I think you gotta take Miller... his GAA and Wins should beat Ward. Point is... the two goalies are studs and both should see at least a modest rebound for sure as both franchises have improved and both had decent momentum at the end of this past season.

Ward is no slouch but I'd probably rather have Miller...but I could just be gun-shy from last year lol.
