I apologize if this is something that is done on a regular basis, but it was new to me so I thought it was worth sharing.
So, we had a regular draft with 12 guys that went 18 players deep. Then, after the dust settled and most people went home, there were 5 of us left and we decided to do another draft where we could only select players who were not selected in the original draft. Not sure if anyone has done this before but it was way more fun than the original and it allows you to have more than one playoff pool without having conflicting guys (cheering for Giroux in one, and Crosby in another, etc). It also went incredibly deep, meaning almost every player (even some potential call-ups and long term IR guys) are accounted for, meaning every goal scored in the playoffs will have some implication in one pool or the other. Highly recommend.

Ahhhh very neat idea. Could be something to consider for the regular season if you had the right group.
