It was a great ride boys, I had such a great team and was favored to win it all.
I began with arguably a decent team, not the best but with trade after trade I began to build a dynasty.

Midway through the season I had completed around 10 trades already, some of which were deadly (ex. Alfredsson & McBain for Gagne, Gagne sat on my IR for literally half the season; Shattenkirk for Carlson... etc) some of which were such boosters to my team (ex. J. Williams, C. Stewart, O. Jokinen for Jagr, E. Staal, Ekman-Larsson).

Here I am now 7 months later with a team that looks like a godsend (on paper at least), especially for a 12-team league.

With the likes of superstars such as Kovy, Kess, the entire first line of SJ, Staal, Kaner you would think this team would've been a ticket to first. Sadly that was not the case... In the last week 6 teams had a very close shot at first but I was the deal-breaker. Not only did I lose, but I was defeated with a total score of 2-10-1 and let the #6 seed coming into week 25 usurp first place.

The ride was amazing, with me setting record weeks in terms of points and I couldn't have done it without the lovely and intelligible advice of you Dobberians, I may be 6th out of 12th but I learned so much which I can use for victory next year.

Ahh so close yet so far. The guy that beat me lost by 0.002% of a winning percentage. Brutal way to lose $60 :P
