Win = 4 pts, SO = 8 pts.
One start left. Elliot vs. Phoenix tonight (Elliot has been a beast lately) at home or Rinne vs. Colorado (Rinne coming off a shutout) on the road. At this point I am swinging for the fences, so -Who is more likely to get a shutout?

man that's tough...both teams will be motivated to win for home ice advantage and both have been playing very well...I'd probably flip a coin to be honest but Rinne would seem to have the easier path...I think the Avs are deflated to have so narrowly missed out on the playoffs and won't be playing their best. The Yotes on the other hand have been really playing strong and not allowing any goals which is concerning since ST doesn't score many to begin with

Elliot for me, too. 30-5-5 at home for the Blues is enough for me. It's a little troubling that they've lost 3 in a row, though.

I'd rather live and die by my stud in Rinne, but I wouldn't fault you for putting Elliott in either. This is the kind of problem you love to have as a fantasy owner.

Elliot leads the league in GAA, SV% and is 2nd in SO. Blues are 30-5-5 at home.

Thanks to all. Good points everyone, but at this point it's really "what have you done lately".
Going to go with Elliott. I suspect both teams will win, but the SO totals this year favor Elliott. If he get his SO tonight, I can't help but wonder if he should be the playoff starter. I know Hitchcock turns goalies into gold, but as a Senators fan who watched Elliott play a ton, I never would have guessed he'd have had this kind of a season. It's these surprise perfomances (also - Smith), coupled with the fact that in my league only 3 out of 10 teams kept a goalie last year, that make me think I shouldn't bother keepin a goalie this off-season. Last year I drafted both Halak and Rinne very late.

I don't know man.
PHO can clinch the Pacific with a win tonight, NAS can clinch home ice with a win, as well. I don't think St. Louis can change their fate, and COL's fate is already sealed. I'd go with Rinne vs the AVS, at least you will get the win and possibly a SO. I think its 50/50 at best that St. Louis beats PHO, given the circumstances.

Elloitt's not playing, so go with Rinne (he's still not confirmed as of right now).
