Hitchcock is known for sticking tight to his plans and usually doesn't let shutouts affect them. Doesn't surprise me one bit.

Then wouldn't he have broken up Elliott's little run here prior to Thursday? I mean Halak had started 11 of 14 prior to this.

The thing is before yesterday I don't think he had ever explicitly stated a set plan on who would start the next game. He said yesterday that he would be starting Elliott today and Halak on Thursday.

I think Hitch has to play Halak so that he doesn't get too rusty. Elliott seems to be able to sit for a while and come in strong, so low risk. Actually wouldn't be surprised if Elliott on gets 1 more start out of the final 5 games.

Best news I've heard all day......I'm in my h2h finals and my opponent has both Miller and Elliot. I started Lundy and Ward last night, and I'm still losing my goalie cats, ugh.

In my big money $$$ keeper, I've been in first ALL year.
The 2nd place team is tracking me down because of Elliott's last three starts.
Within 10pts...

Gawd. I wish Hitch would go Halak.

If I lose in that league, I will honestly cry. Too many things going wrong over the last couple months including Vokoun getting 0 starts lately with his "injury".
