Haven't had a goalie start yet this week, H2H opponent currently has a 5.000 GAA and a .8579% save %. Should I start Rinne or is it risky?

I would run it dude, I'm actually doing the same. Did your opponent start Pavelec last night? That's the situation I'm in, and I'm going with Rinne tonight.

He's coming off two straight wins, 1.00 GAA in both games on 26 shots. I think he might be starting to heat up again, and these games are all VERY important for Nashville in a tight Central Division race.

Not to mention the Preds have had the Blues' number this year. All things considered, I think Rinne is a solid start for you in a relatively safe situation given your opponents' stats thus far.

I think this is like the epitome of overthinking it.

1) You're considering benching Pekka Rinne
2) Your opponent has already gotten one horsebleep start so you have room for error even if Rinne has a bad game (which odds are he doesn't).
3) If you want to dive even further Rinne is 12-5 with a .936% and 1.85 GAA.

Come on man...

He's pretty studly against the Blues. Roll with confidence.

What about Rinne would ever suggest that you should mention the word "risky" and "Rinne" in the same sentence? Start him with confidence...each and every game.

When healthy, is there ever a time when you would sit Crosby, Malkin or Stamkos? That is what we are talking about here.

Rinne's on your roster for a reason.

Nothing good about that GAA or SV%...

I was faced with the same tough decision tonight in one of my cash pools and I'm glad I sat him.

When you're facing a team that's 29-4 at home... the odds simply just aren't in your favour.
