I'll have to admit that Beaulieu rang more of a 2 way defenceman bell in my head. I'd probably sa that Brodin and Morrow are more offensive then defensive. Could be wrong. I guess you could add Beaulieu along with them, although I haven't kept tabs on him as much as the other ones I listed, so I decided to leave my opinion out of that.

Armia has 27 points in his last 25 games in the Finnish league while averaging 14.27 min TOI. The SM-liiga is a 60-game schedule, so that's almost half a season there. For my money, he also had a decent showing at the WJC this year and scored several clutch goals.

How is Couturier showing he doesn't have high-end upside? He's playing on the fourth line on a stacked Flyers team as a rookie. From what I have seen, he's been very good in his role and almost always makes the right play, which speaks volumes about his hockey sense. Couturier was always supposed to be a two-way forward anyway instead of a pure offensive threat.

Brodin is a 2 way D with an interesting offensive upside. Morrow is an offensive D. I'd take Morrow before Beaulieu in a points only keeper league without a doubt. Between Brodin and Beaulieu it's close.

Armia started off pretty bad, hence inconsistent. I don't think that's even debatable to be honest.

What you described of Couturirer doesn't show he has high-end upside at all. He could have it, but not off of what you described. Making the right play and being good as a 3rd/4th line checker and PKer doesn't mean he will he suddenly become an elite 2nd or 1st one day. If you watch him play you can see that he isn't a great skater, doesn't shoot nearly enough, and overall lacks explosiveness and creativity. He was supposed to be a two-way forward yet people think because of his Q points he was going to be an offensive star in the NHL. Hockey sense and size can only get you so far. If you're inconsistent and slow, you will be hindered. I also wouldn't call the Flyers stacked per se, as their lineup is full of rookies. If you're going for points-only players there's many more forwards I'd rather have than him right now.

Right now I would re-do the draft as so:

Landeskog
RNH
Huberdeau
Larsson
Hamilton
Zibanejad
Strome
Brodin
Scheifele
Bartschi
Couturier

Not even one year removed from the draft and we are talking about "re-drafting"? Hmmmmmm....so much for development time

Dean thats because in my pool we wait a year to watch the rookies so in next september we will be drafting the rookies from the 2011 NHL draft...

I am in a points only league so I want the guys who will put some points .... not only good NHler

thats why I dont think Landeskog will still be first in BigEv list... no ?

No problem. I understand where you are coming from.

I'd be going:

1. RNH
2. Huberdeau
3. Landeskog
4. Zibanejad
5. Strome
6. Scheifele
7. Bartschi
8. Couturier
9. Saad
10. Rattie (like him a lot but he's riskier)

I'd draft Huberdeau over Landeskog and wait on his production (it will be worth it IMO).

Dmen

1a. Murphy
1b. Hamilton
3. Larsson
4. Brodin
5. Morrow

These four are very close for me. Larsson gets the #1 spot only because he's playing in the show now but I like Hamilton/Brodin as much as AL.

EDIT: Didn't know it was points only. Swapped Huberdeau and Landeskog. And I totally forgot Murphy

Points-only probably RNH, but it's close.
