As this season wraps up, I think the buzz around Yakupov is going to excelerate 10 fold. This kid...I think the clear cut #1...could have his career defined depending on when he's selected and who selects him.

I think he has the potential to be...as he's already been coined...the "Next Ovie". However, Ovie was Ovie in Washington. Would Ovie be Ovie had he been nabbed by Columbus? Seems Columbus is the place player go to die. And with the expected departure of Nash in the off season, just what kind of an atmosphere would be left for Yakupov.

Should Yakupov end up on ANY of the other bottom 4 teams (Montreal, Edmonton, Carolina)...I think he has RNH impact immediately...and never looks back. Should he land in Columbus on a line with Nash, I think his start will be drastically stunted (much like the struggles Nash has had over his entire career).

I'd still put Yakupov #1 (impact long term) but i think the gap is VERY close to Grigoreko, and fully expect Grig to make a bigger splash next year should Yakupov land in Columbus and Grig anywhere else.

Then I think your list is missing Huberdeau who I would rank Very close, if not slightly behind Henrique for NEXT years output...but long term, Huberdeau will be a stud especially in his situation.

IMO

Interesting so how do you rank them? Huberdeau is purposely left off as he has already been drafted by a GM in my pool and I fully expect that he will be protected?
