Post Worthy keepers

Hey guys,

Just wondering which of these defensemen are worth keeping in a pts-only salary cap league:

M. Streit
A. Goligoski
J. McBain
M. Zidlicky
R. Ellis

I'm pretty sure about keeping Ellis as he should get more playing time next year (hopefully, if one of Suter or Weber leaves) but I'd like to keep one more. Streit and Goligoski are probably safer picks but they cost more than McBain who's also younger. I threw in Zidlicky in there just in case I might not know something about him or if the trade to NJ revigorates him or something.

Thanks!

I'd go with one cheap guy, like McBain or Ellis and then one guy that's more pricey. I honestly think Streit will be more productive, but Goligoski is more valuable in keeper leagues. Go with McBain and Goligoski IMO.

Well, I think I would go with Goligoski - he is signed long term at 4.6. Got another year on Streit at 4.1 but then ufa - who knows then - I like Goligoski to produce down the road as the Stars settle their hash.

McBain? - obviously is going to get a new contract but what that might be is anyone's guess. He is going to develop but not in a hurry methinks - so I like Goligoski the best.

Zids - could be a keeper if you could see the future but I would pass.

I didn't realize you're only keeping one and in that case I'd go with Goligoski.

So basically, it's Goligoski over Streit.

Alright...I'll wait for the end of the year and decide.
