What do you guys think of Skinner? Will he get back to the top PP unit? Is his performance drop related to Ruutu being out?

Also, how about Vokoun? Will he win back the starting job?

For Skinner, I could try to package a 3 for 2 deal and pick up other players, or just drop him for other players. A bunch of decent ones available:

You seem to have a really good team so I think you can take the risk and drop these underperforming players.

Skinner really hasn't been quite the same since returning from injury, don't think it really has much to do with Ruutu though. I would pick up Perron.

Vokoun is droppable because you already have three very good starters in Fleury, Smith and Lehtonen, so I would risk taking the chance and picking up Neuvirth IF HE'S STARTING TONIGHT.

I'm in first place right now so I can definitely take risks. My team as a whole has been playing really well recently but not getting much help from Vokoun or Skinner. There is definitely a bunch of decent quality WW pick ups but I think my team is good enough to hold on to them till playoffs or even during playoffs. Just wondering if I am dropping too much value/upside.

I don't think you would be. All it takes is a couple of cold streaks and your top team could be struggling. In a yearly league Im not really too worried about upside when there have been serious trends of not producing.

Skinner only has 4g, 4a since his return January 15 (16 games).

With Vokoun and your three goalies, you could even afford to drop him for a player as you could easily run with three goalies and manage them on a weekly basis.

For forwards, I had Perron but I'm not too sure about him. He's gotten on the score sheet pretty regularly but he barely gets me anything in peripherals, the occasional 1 or 2 shots and thats about it. With my league being a very peripheral heavy league, I'm thinking maybe someone like Dubinsky would get me SOG, some FW, hits and PIMs. Decent threat for SHP too.

Another player I'm quite interested in too is Malone from TB - gets PP time with StL and Stamkos, gets lots of hits and decent PIMs.

Roy is still available and if their PP heats up that would be good as well.

For goalies, Neuvirth would be a nice pick up but he can be quite unstable too. Don't think its anything about him but more of the whole WAS team in general. How about Varlamov? He has been playing really well and Colorado seems to be heating up..

Good thing I didn't drop Skinner. Looks like hes back on the 1st PP unit.

I am still considering dropping Vokoun for a forward/defender that gets hits and PIMs just to strengthen that department though.
