Default Who's better moving forward: Wisneiwski or J. McBain?? REP given

In a keeper league, points only (goals worth 2, assists worth 1 for D-men), who do people like here?? I could maybe go for the win next year or two. Thanks very much!!

Short-term I would prefer Wisniewski, especially if you want to take a title shot next season. As you are in a points-only-league, you don't need to worry about his +/- playing for Columbus. I like McBain's potential as well, maybe he is making a huge step forward next year but maybe it's going to take another one or a change of scenery for a huge breakthrough year. The safer option seems to be Wisniewski here.

Cheers,
Doc

A missing part of the equation is: Who are your other Dmen?

If your betting on either fo these guys to be your number 1 then I don't think you should be going for it. On the other hand if they're going to be no#4 or #5 guys or on the bench it would affect my choice.

Regardless I would prefer Mcbain over Wis going forward. Main reason is the team Wis is on - CBJ will suck real bad if they get rid of Nash in the off season.

I like Wiz since goals are more valuable. Also McBain has more competition (Faulk, Pitkanen - even Harrison and Spacek have gotten some PP love in the past), so might not get on PP1. I think Wiz and Jack Johnson have got to be locks on PP1 in Columbus (as they were on Tuesday).

I do agree with Go Puck Yourself that Columbus is screwed - hell, they're screwed even WITH Nash. But they've still go to score SOME goals, right?
