Any of you guys bloggers here? And it doesn't have to be strictly hockey blogging either.

For example. I have my own blog, and it's mostly for updating about my book writing process, as well as posting poems I've written over the years and current ones.

Maybe we could list our blogs here. Also, add in what your blog is for like what topic is the main thing like hockey, writing, journalism, etc.

No offense but I think you have the wrong attitude towards blogging. Blogging is here to stay and it is an important way of getting your name and works out there. The key to blogging is to offer up something unique that people would actually read. I know from my own experiences with blogging I basically just wrote generic opinion garbage that never stood out from anything else but my best stuff was when I would do game NBA game recaps. That's where I just kind of unleashed and while you can definitely get recaps anywhere you definitely couldn't get recaps like mine. Since I've moved to doing the weekly column here as well as working full time I just don't have the time to do much for my blog anymore but the game recaps are what I miss because they were unique and they were really my own.

Point being, if you are going to do the blog thing really take ownership of it and do it not because you have to but because you want to and if you do that I think your product will shine.

No, I don't think I really put out my feelings correctly. I'm saying I didn't like it at first, but recently, I've actually started using it because of what I've read, and I'm enjoying it. I as a fragile minded prospective author am finding it fun to put my stuff out there. Now my book won't show up, but I'll give little snippets here and there about what's going on in the story or a slight character trait.

So if any of you enjoy reading poetry that can be a bit different at times, I have a wide range of styles that I've toyed with, give me a look-see. Plus, if you like reading, I will also review books I've been reading.

What a strange thread to pop up. The reason I've been fantasy hockey absent so far this year is because I started a blog and have poured every ounce of spare time into developing it.

My blog is supposed to be a humourous look at my life as a dad and hope to start working on a series of children's books very soon. Not very manly in a sports sense but you know me, I'm a real sensitive guy, LOL.

Hey TG, just checked out the site, cool stuff! One thing I would say is that if you are planning to use this site as a launch for your book, you may want to get an actual site instead of the free blogger one.

It costs about $6-8 bucks a month but it'll totally be worth it once you get a following. Let me know if you're interested and I'd be happy to walk you through the process I went through. Of course, you're probably an internet freak and don't need help at all, lol. Me, not so much...

Killer- yeah, I'm planning to do the whole website thing once I get a real following. Years ago I had bought the url for the website I wanted, hopefully I'll be able to get it again.

I could definitely use some help. Though I am going to talk to the brother-in-law as he's a software developer and they've done the building of websites from the ground up, but don't make it super pretty, but if it's solid and not hackable, I'm down with that too lol.
