I am currently riding this guy a lot in my pool as he is playing real hot now. only thing is the consensus seems to be it won't be this good next year and beyond.

Why not?

Playing in Tippet's defense first system he is thriving with 10 wins in a row. Why would this not continue next year?

Should I think about trading him in the off season or just stand pat? (hopefully he keeps hot and I'll win me a title!)

The Phoenix system seems to benefit goalies. There's no reason to say he won't have another good season, but there's no reason to say he will either. Smith simply isn't an elite goalie and you'll just have to wait and see what kind of season he has next year. The skills aren't there to put up .925+ Save% consistently. With Dubnyk being mediocre and Reimer's future up in the air, and Ward's team letting him down, you should 100% try and secure a sure thing in net.
