Ok so I do need some quick feedback if anyone is around. Trade deadline in 2 hours. Full Keeper league, H2H, Mostly standard Yahoo stats. Two offers sent to me:

Offer A:

Ovechkin + Ribiero + Duchene + Carlsson for Spezza + Kessel + Karlsson

Offer B:

Ovechkin + Ribiero + Carlsson for Spezza + Karlsson + Grabner

If you're in last, I wouldn't do it -- no motivation to sell Ovechkin at an all-time low, and buy Karlsson at a high (not saying he's not a stud--but PPG is a lot to assume going forward).

I'd keep Ovy.

If you were chasing first or something, I'd think about this differently.

Carlson not Carlsson. Never understand why leagues would put a fantasy trade deadline before the NHL trade deadline.

Anyways I would take option A. You get Ovie and an extra Keeper upgrade in Ribiero/Duchene. Karlsson may score alot this year but it's so fickle with defencemen that I wouldn't count on them scoring near ppg year after year. Kessel and Karlsson are having career years, so this is a pretty big sell high. I'm not saying they may not repeat these seasons again, but I would not expect those two to have seasons like this every year.

As much as Karlsson has looked sweet, D are fickle. Doughty had a HUGE year, then regressed, Green looked like PPG, now not so much.

I'd LOVE to own Karlsson, but Ovy's too much to pass on here.
