No to that. I see you have a few nice players. Ideally, if you grade a yong guy like Benn, it should be in a package deal. Package him with another player and go after a player like Tavares. Pass on this.

I personally love benn and cant see myself making this deal... especially b/c of the pick, but i am currently in second and about 40 points out of first. if i can do the deal straight up do you think i would be in a better spot to win?

... i am actually a little surprised that this many people are so against this deal.. i am sure everyone is aware that st louis is averaging 91 points over the last three years...i understand he is 36, but c'mon...

If you're a fan of the player, id stick w/ it. Especially its a keeper, Benn's potential is sky's the limit. We already know what to expect from the mighty StLouis.

NO, still wouldnt do the deal straight up. Keep Benn and roll w/ him. Try and counter for StLouis with your 1st and a 2nd tier fwd instead. G'Luck!

You have to give up Benn and your 1st round pick for St Louis. Is that right? Tell you what - shop that package of yours around the league and see if you get any better offers. I think it stinks as an offer personally.

I think you should have traded Benn and Neal for Getzlaf + 2 firsts. Did you actually decline it? And like I said before those picks are extremely valuable, why on earth would you trade Benn plus a first for St. Louis?? They're about even in terms of points, and Benn is much yonger and a more valuable trade chip. And the first round pick is worth more than both of them.
