Wolski is in Florida so I doubt he will take up a spot.
As far as Zucarello is concerned, I am a lot less high on him after this past season and would probably say he has a 1 in 6 chance of ever having a 50 point season in the show. and I own him. . . . . . . |

I signed Zuccarello on the waiver wire when NYR signed him out of the Swedish Elite league. I really see him as a Rob Schremp type player. He has a sick set of hands, but not much else. He is just too small to play in the NHL(lets be honest, he is no Marty St. Louis). TSN has him listed as 5'7" and I think that is being quite generous. I just see him being a career AHLer...or even going back to the Swedish Elite league where he can dominate.
Here is a highlite reel of his from youtube. Some of his breakaways are pretty solid...but not amazing. And if you compare his size to some of the defenders, he looks like your 14 year old nephew you invited out to fill in on your mens league team... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHTtQ...eature=related

MZA needs a top six opportunity somewhere else before you can call him a bust. I never think small guys get a fair shake unless they are other worldly(St. Louis).

When it comes to Zuccarello you really have to stay the course and be patient. If you want draw parrallels to St. Louis (most people will) then it needs to be realized that Marty did not break out until he was 28 years old and in his 4th full NHL season where he had at least 50 games a season. Zuucarello has not even come close to these milestones and might not do it until he gets much more playing time and seasoning in the NHL. Not sure he'll get that chance with NYR and will eventually move to another team but some key injuries could change that. I believe Zuccs wants to stick it out in North America and earn his way onto a regular spot in the NHL so I don't expect him to bolt back to Europe or the SEL soon.
