I love TV commercials. I laugh out loud at some.
There's one where the office is having Tacos... and the one guy doesn't get the text message until he's criticized the party. Makes me laugh, every time.

It's too bad that "Banner Ads" can't be funny...
...but sometimes I laugh.


Like just now - I'm on the DobberHockey home page and there's some banner ad showing some girl named "Vicki".

The message showed a few Facebook Icons and said:
"You have two friends in common".

And I'm thinking:
1) I'm not even on Facebook,
2) Maybe my virtual DobberHockey friends know Vicki.

Is there ever a banner ad that is soooo good that you click it?

I clicked one on ESPN a few months ago.
It was very simple... a moving football that you are supposed to kick through the uprights.
I really shouldn't have done it, but it was one of those little "I need to prove to myself that I can do this" sort of days.

I think it was a beer ad.
I don't know.

Just curious if anybody ever clicks them and what gets you?
(And no, I'm not a secret online advertising exec trying to soak you for valuable information)
