Hi all, just been offerd Giroux for Perry, Rask ans swap of 1st rounder (I am first and he is last).

Should i jump on this or try to get a bit more? With Ward injured, I might be able to pry Vokoun from him....

I wouldn't do it unless he sweetens the deal. Perry is only one season removed from 50 goals and an MVP. add in giving up Rask who will be a stud and the 1st overall pick and it's simple too much to stomach. I do love Giroux though

You lose Rask and your 1st rd 1st pick? Correct? If so, dont like it for you. I dont see why you have to lose your 1st rd'er here (you lose your 1st overall..pls clarify??). Perry and Rask is a bit of an overpayment for Giroux + Vokoun

Eventho, Perry has struggled he can still finish strong this last couple months. Yes, Giroux is special and MAY join the ranks for the Crosbys/Stamkos as true elite. But thats what some thought about Perry last year.

So...NO...wouldnt give up that much to get Giroux. And you giving up that 1st rd pick 1st overall? dont make sense.

Thanks for your cemments. Because of my keeper situation, it really comes down to Giroux vs Perry and I agree that next year first overall is a big price to pay.
