Isn't he the one who is about 50% responsible for how bad Columbus is? As far as I remember, he was a terrible GM, and now he's giving "advice" on what to do with Nash.

The Kings need scoring, and will pay a fair price to bring in Nash, the big scoring winger that they need. They also have solid depth on the blueline, and two franchise goalies.

The Jackets need to start fresh with a franchise goalie and franchise defenseman, as well as a skilled forward in Loktioniov, who has been a spare part in LA.

A deal such as this makes sense for both teams IMO. Mason gets a fresh start as a backup, which his skillset and body of work suggests he is better suited for, while Lebda is a throw-in.

My prediction: Kings give: F Loktionov, G J Bernier, D J Johnson

Jackets give: F R Nash, G S Mason, D B Lebda
