What has happened to him???

One point in 27 games this season and next to no PP time. I remember when this guy was a sought after prospect. I know he's only 19 and has had injury problems but "one" point!

Will he get it together?

He's a 19 year old rookie, playing on the 4th line, plain and simple. The Islanders felt it would be better for his development playing 4th line NHL minutes than going back down. I don't think they are able to send him to Bridgeport if I'm not mistaken???? He'll come along soon enough.

If he's 19 isn't be cause he can't go to the AHL because his rights are held by the WHL still? That could explain in -

They would feel he doesn't have more to learn in Junior, can't send him to the AHL and perhaps he hasn't earned his ice-time in a top 6 role.

The Islanders should send him back to junior. They are ruining him and destroying any confidence he had. It is obvious he is not NHL ready yet, so even if he is above WHL competition it does him better than becoming another Josh Bailey.

That's what I'm thinking.
