Available are:
Sami Salo Jay Bouwmeester Francois Beauchemin Jay Harrison Brent Seabrook ( I have Keith) Filip Kuba Giordano doesn't seem to be doing much and doesn't shoot at all. Liles is also close to returning after All-Star break so Gunnarson might be off the top PP soon.

I'd keep Giordano personally. He's great for leagues with PIM and he does play on the Flames PP so the points should come soon enough. I know it doesn't seem like it now but he's still my #1 choice out of these guys you listed.
As for Gunnarson, I wouldn't hesitate one bit to drop him. It's not like he's been spectacular or anything...he's pretty much been your run of the mill depth fantasy defenseman option, so I'd take a few of those names on that list over him. Bouwmeester has been rolling a bit I believe he's got seven points in his past seven or something along those lines. Salo is back in the Canucks lineup tonight and he was practicing on the top unit again with Edler. Beauchemin has been pretty solid lately. Personally I would go with Salo. |

I like Gunnarson to be honest 3 points and 11 SOG in the last 8 games during the last 2 weeks... Plus he's averaging 2:52 on the Leafs "big PP unit". So I don't think he's been a "run of the mill depth" defenseman at the moment.
Salo is also coming back from an injury, so if you can wait a few games to see how they adjust then I might be inclined to wait. I could see the Nucks wanting to stick with what they're currently running with since they're having a bit of success.

Liles is set to make his return soon so I can almost guarantee that Liles will take Gunnarson's minutes away on the PP. 3 points in 8 games is barely more than 30 points over a full 82 anyhow.
As for the Canucks wanting to stick what they have Salo was practicing on PP1 and was back paired with Edler. I can guarantee they'll put Salo back up there right away as the PP has not looked good with Burrows on the point. |
