With mini's play of late i have considered dropping backstrom, gustavsson is available is he worth picking up will he be better than backstrom from here on out? or should i pick up another forward and roll with only 3 goalies?

With Koivu coming back and rumors have a trade on the horizon on top of the fact that he is much more proven i´d go with Backstrom without a doubt.

I know how easy it is to get down on a player/goalie but do not switch out Backstrom for Gustavsson. This is a short term problem so don't make any long term mistakes.

Are you saying rumor has Gustavsson on the trading block in the near future? Interesting.....

This one's a tough one... Minny is hurting at the moment, but last game Heater and Seto really started to break out and this could be a start of a big winning streak much like how the started the season with. Or they could continue to fall and that was just a blip. The next 2-3 games could be the crossroads for the Wild.

With that said, you have Quick, Halak and Smith who are all very goalies on defensive teams anyways... I might be inclined to roll the dice with the monster knowing that you have plenty of protection in case he falters...

thank you all for your input, a little confusing as to what i should do differing opinions. i think i will wait and see for a few more games. but brings up another question do i have more value running 4 goalies or 3 and an extra forward?
