Default Mock Draft

Here\'s my top ten for Friday night.....

1) Patrick Kane -RW- Chicago, closer to NHL than Turris or JVR, could step in right away with Havlat and/or Toews

2) James VanRiemsdyk -LW- Philly, I think Turris\' lack of solid competition makes JVR the safer selection. But it\'s close here.

3) Kyle Turris -C- Phoenix, I tempted to think they will want someone who can play right away, but they won\'t pass this up.

4) Karl Alzner -D- L.A., This I feel was the toughest to pick. Do they go with need or best player. Alzner could be fast tracked to the big club.

5) Alex Chrepenov -RW- Washington, They have the best bet of getting him to cross the pond with the idea of playing with A.O., if he isn\'t already gone by this point.

6) Angelo Esposito -C- Edmonton, It\'s a toss up between him, Gagner or Voracek. This is a gut call it\'s Esposito over Gagner.

7) Keaton Ellerby -D- Columbus, They are in complete rebuild mode. He\'s the best player on the board.

8) Sam Gagner -C/W- Boston, This would be a good pick for both sides. Gagner should get a shot at making the club, and Boston gets a scorer. If either D-man is left at this point he\'ll go here instead.

9) Jakub Voracek -RW- St. Louis, May make the quickest and smoothest jump to the NHL. Will make a good 2nd liner some day.

10) Brandon Sutter -C/RW- Florida, Just because I think he deserves it. He\'s been getting a lot of buzz leading up to the draft.

There you have it.. just my opinion and with this draft could be completely out of whack. Anyone have any thoughts?
