dewo, it's tough to say if that package would get a deal done because it's all in the eye of the person you're dealing with.

You said he wants a good blueliner, so I would think Carlson would be that guy (although right now Shattenkirk is producing a bit better), and Fleishman is good producer to throw in too.

But it really comes down to the other guy.

I know in my league (points-only), I offered Zetterberg straight-up for Duchene as soon as the latter was injured, thinking it was worth the loss in points this season in order to save 9,10 years in age....and I think Duchene is a young Parise, to be honest. I got a polite 'no thanks' back. I didn't bother adding to the package.

What I guess I'm saying is that in my league, your offer would very likely not be accepted. But if the guy you're dealing with wants a young blueliner..then it's worth offering b/c the other GM may love Carlson, or may really fancy Fleischman.

Every GM, every league, every trade is different...

My offer was rejected as well , would have been shocked if he accepted it.
I might put Eric Staal somewhere in the equation, but this thread convinced me to hold on Carlson. Everyone seems convinced he'll be running the show at D in Washington.

Yea, I would hold on to Carlson if I were you. The other 3 are all pretty close in my opinion and since Shatty is having the best year out of the bunch, you mine as well take advantage of it.
