Default White vs Del Zotto vs Bieksa (Points Only Keeper)

Hey guys.. Looking to upgrade my defense right away.. I need to get rid of a Defencman.. (Markov, Pronger or Whitney) for one of the following..

It's a Points Only LIMITED keeper league.. For the rest of the year who would you swap?

- Del Zotto
- White
- Bieksa (lowest imo)

Quite honestly I'd take all three of those guys over Pronger, Whitney, and Bogosian if you're looking for immediate impact. I doubt any of those guys make it into your set of keepers.

I concur,mostly, with Bondon.

I rank em

Del Zotto
White
Bieksa.

The only one of Pronger, Whitney, Bogo, Markov i consider keeping is Bogosian. So at the very least i take Del and White for Pronger and Whitney.

I also take Bieksa over Markov but thats just cause i feel he won't be back this year.

Thanks for the input guys.. I forgot to mention that I can only pick up one per month... So i would need to replace 1 od my defenders for 1 of these forwards..

I was considering markov but there may be a slight chance he's back.. Pronger is done for sure.. Whitney is still a crap shoot but is playing..

I was thinking of MDZ or White to replace Markov...

I would add MDZ and drop any of the three. If I had to pick just one, I'd probably lean towards Pronger because he has no chance of coming back this season, and frankly I can't see him coming back if the rumours of the seriousness of his injury are true.

Even if he does come back to play, odds are you see a situation similar to what is going on with Crosby. Just a problem I wouldn't want. Anyways, I look at your list of players and to me Pronger is a fringe keeper anyways given his injury status.

Markov could potentially be back by the time your next waiver pick happens. Whitney, while being useless, he at least plays every once and awhile. If you're intent on keeping Pronger in case he does come back and make your set of keepers, then I'd drop Whitney.

I hate to admit it cause I was shitting on him more than anyone, but MDZ has made a believer out of me. In a points only keeper, MDZ is heads and shoulders above those guys.

I agree with b0ndon to drop Pronger. There is very, very little chance he ever plays again imo. I would however pick up White over MDZ if I was you. He has been suburb all year and is very consistent. MDZ is on fire right now but is a mental midget in his own zone most of the time and could fall back in to Tortorella's bad books..

Is there any realistic thought that MDZ may be a keeper? We only keep 12 so i'm thinking there are plenty of forwards available instead with higher upsides.. Both players are probably not keepers..

I don't see anyway I count 9-10 forwards who would have to be kept over him, 2 D and both goalies. Maybe if he puts up 50ts or something

Lots of good advice here already. Drop Pronger and grab MDZ
