I'm negociating with a fellow GM in a 1-year H2H league (G, A, P, PPP, +/-, GWG) and he seems really interested by this offer: my Eric Staal and Zetterberg for his Stamkos. With the freed roster spot, I'd be picking Filppula.

Now, Staal's 3-points night last night makes me hesitate. Do I use this as a salesman's argument or do I cancel this offer??

In a 1-year league this is a no-brainer for your league settings. Stamkos is a proven scorer and is among the leaders in scoring. You can't get GWG points without goals is how i see it so obviously you go with a scorer in Stamkos to maximize your chances in getting points. You might be paying too much so maybe try to ask for a throw-in of someone he doesn't like if you don't have any good players on WW.
