Maximus is also a Double IPA, but it's not the palate wrecker that Hop Stoopid is. It's very good DIPA that is very easy drinking. If you love a good hop smack I recommend it. Plus it also has the advantage of being available in 6 packs where Hop Stoopid is only available in bombers and kegs.

Oh and the price here where I'm at in the states for a bomber of Hop Stoopid is $4. Sounds like your retailer is tacking on one hell of a markup.

I am currently enjoying a Pyramid Hefeweizen wheat ale. Not had a lot of wheat ale but this one is nice. Not as crisp as a pilsner nor as fragrant as a Belgian but a nice balance nonetheless.
