This La Fin Du Monde takes a bit of getting used to but it's a pretty damn good beer as well.

This Red Racer is going to have to go into my regular rotation. Every sip I have I like it more.

Where is Red Racer from? Everyone keeps talking that one up. Sounds like I need to seek it out and see if it's available in CA.

Some of my friends like it too... Not sure why but I am not a fan. Maybe I just need to drink it more.

My sister was over here from KC today and she came bearing gifts....
2 bombers each of Stone's Arrogant Bastard, Sublimely Self Righteous Ale, and Smoked Porter. Plus....can I get an amen from you my brothers and sisters of the congregation of great beer....a 6 pack of Deschutes Black Butte Porter. Deschutes isn't in Kansas just yet, it's coming, but it is in stores just over the border in Missouri. Haven't tried them yet as they were room temperature, but I will be cracking one of each open over the weekend. She also brought a rather interesting addition, two bottles of Ole Smokey Moonshine, one is apple pie and the other is cherry. They're not to be confused with full strength pop skull straight from a still back in the woods, but still intriguing just the same. Already had a bottle of Old Rasputin Imperial Stout with dinner, probably knock back a bottle of Blvd's Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale later. Also planning something a bit different...well different for me anyway. Going to break open the bottle of Great Divide's Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Stout with breakfast tomorrow. They call it a breakfast beer so I'll give it a whirl. If it's any good I'll have to run to the store when they open and grab more before the production run ends at the end of the month. What's on the drinks menu tonight, be it beer, wine, or spirits, fellow Dobberites?
