Moon Under Water Brewery, Tranquility IPA...I like the taste, it's just a little under carbonated for my liking. Not even on the BA website. Loch may have sampled it?
Haven't tried Moon Under Water Brewery as yet (I've driven past it though...) since I've been on reduced beer consumption for the past month. I'll add it to the Hoyne and Driftwood Brews I've yet to get to.

Just makes your mouth water doesn't it?
Cannot go wrong w/an Ommegang. I was recently telling a buddy of mine that I have yet to try the Abbey Ale, so this input has shot it to the top of my "to do" list.

You will not regret it, but you already know how good their beers are. Those guys sure do know their Belgian style beers.

On a completely unrelated note, that Wake Up Dead Stout I mentioned in my milestone thread was not the standard WUD, it was the Barrel-Aged one. Very good breakfast stout, I do like Espresso Oak-Aged Yeti a little better.

Enjoying a Driftwood Twenty Pounder Double IPA. Another 9% bomber...look out.

Better than most of these reviews suggest:

One guy said it was like chewing on a pine needle! Strangely, that sounds right up my alley. I like the piney ones. My guess is that it has Simcoe and Centennial coming out the ears of it.

I'm on the ciders this afternoon. Its stinking hot and I'm brewing beer. Cider is making the afternoon go swimmingly.

Quite the difference up here on this side of the equator. Had a foot of snow on Thursday and expecting another foot Monday. I'll trade ya?

Had a couple of He'brew Genesis Dry Hopped Session Ales, plus a couple of glasses of Redbreast Irish Whiskey while wondering what is the proper sacrifice to the gods to make that snow go somewhere else. Lots of porters chilling contentedly in the fridge so that's likely next up. Big Sky Cowboy Coffee or maybe Avery New World.

Shit forgot to post - FINALLY tried a Rochefort 6 the other night. It had been in my fridge for a while but I tend to put off drinking the more expensive beers.

Anyway, fantastic beer as expected, but doesn't hold a candle to the 8/10 IMO.

6 is my personal favorite of the bunch. I do like the others, but 6 is a gentle caress of a beer. A sexy whisper.

You and 6 need to get a room. Remember to hang the bottle opener from the door knob so we don't walk in on you.
