Well, then again, I'm a huge Russian River fan, but Alpine is next to impossible to get hold of unless you're in and around the San Diego area. I hear their brewery tour is top notch too.

It's Sunday right? That means it's still the weekend. I'm currently enjoing another Switchback IPA from Vancouver Island.
Me and the GF have talked about going to San Fran sometime next winter/spring maybe. Should be able to get some of them there I'd imagine. So far away though!

Yea - ever since Red Racer stopped distributing around here I just can't find the right replacement.

I've been buying Lagunitas Maximus, Lagunitas Daytime, and Flying Monkey Smashbomb IPA, and while they're all good, none are really filling that gap.

Gonna try some Paddock Wood and maybe some Phillips next, see how those work out.

Issue is - how many beer can I bring back on a flight? It can't be much and I don't have the vacation time to drive to San Fran.

Canadian Customs allows you to bring back 24 355ml cans/bottles of ale after you've been in the US for 48hr. I say pack light going and use a big indestructible suitcase.

Really, that much?

Too bad I don't have an indestructible suitcase... just a regular one. Oh well, fill it with shitty sweaters. God that would weigh a billion pounds.

Nah, a 24 pack weighs right around 30lbs and with the airport limit typically being 50lbs you should be pretty good for weight even with padding. Good luck selling "can I use your padded bra to wrap the beer" as romantic though!
