All Loch's talk of the hoppy Fat Tug IPA caused me to open one up myself.
No Fat Tug, but the IPA discussion has me quickly exhausting my supply of Union Jack. Mind you that's not a complaint, merely an observation....well no complaints until I run out of Union Jack anyway.

Until tomorrow morning. But what the hell, the ride is worth the price right?

I meant in the taste I'm sure I'll notice it tomorrow! But I have a draft at 2pm... hope I've recovered by then!

I figured that's where you were coming from. My favorite brewer, Blvd, has a couple just like that, especially their Sixth Glass Quadruple. That bad boy pack an abv ~10% but you don't even detect it.

Also I wanted to beat Loch to the punch....line.

Hey...did you ever end up trying that hoppy wheat beer from Blvd? Curious to your thoughts if you did.

I did in fact. It's a really solid beer, the thing is don't go in expecting a wheat IPA. The first time I tried it I was disappointed, and that was because I was expecting a wheat IPA. Once I got that idea out of my head and approached it with an open mind I really enjoyed it.

Another way to look at it is an amped up version of their unfiltered wheat. It's a wheat with a bit more hop kick to it. Certainly worth trying, and a true session beer.

I figured as much. What was the name of it again? I'm betting it was a one off though and won't be available anymore? Maybe next summer again?

Mine is still the 10, 8, then 6. But I've also had the 10 3x, the 8 4x, and only had the 6 1x so I'm sure that plays a role.

If I were planning on drinking several beer I'd prob go 6 or 8 over 10. But sitting down and just savouring a beer - man, that 10 has so many levels and is so damn smooth for the ABV.
