So I've recently tried some more Firestone brews.

805 is a solid one, even though beer advocate rates it pretty harshly. At least the readers do.

DBA- My favorite so far. It's their double barrel ale. I rather enjoyed it especially with the potato soup I had last night.

Their pale 31 Is a California pale ale. It really should be listed as an IPA as that what it tasted like as it was a very hoppy pale ale.

Have you by chance tried any of the beers from their Proprietors Reserve Series? Those are Double Jack, Wooky Jack, Walker's Reserve, Sucaba, Parabola, and Double DBA. According to their website only Union Jack and that Series are available in MO. Bit of a drive for me, but for good beer it's worth it.

Funny thing though, they sell the limited batch Double DBA in MO, but not the year round DBA.

My buddy who's living with my family at the moment (He's also my wife's step brother now as their parents got married, weird) has had Wooky Jack and I think Walker's Reserve. I know we can get Double DBA here as well. I could probably find all of that if I tried hard enough. Plus, the taproom restaurant of theres is like 2 and a half hour drive from here. I'm gonna have to check it out someday when I go to the beach.

Try a My Antonia (assuming you haven't) and let me know. You said you don't have Dogfish Head available, correct?

Well, I was able to rearrange shit in my pantry without having to throw anything out which will be the next step. I believe that I can fit at least two more batches of bottled beer in there now. I think the shelves will hold about 150 750ml bottles.... or approximately the equivalent of 340 standard 330ml bottles. Fourteen 2-4s. hahah. If it gets to that point, I'll have to invite folks over for a BBQ to drink some of it.

Ifn get my way... the whole pantry will be dedicated to beer. I'm not sure if the wife will agree, but I might just have to put my foot down on this one! hahha It would look sick with all walls of the pantry covered with my home brew bottles. SICK!

Anyone that reads this post is more than welcome to visit me and drink home brew in the back yard this summer.

Sweet!

Former owners of our place (we've been here just over one year) have a built-in storage closet under the basement stairs. I'm trying t figure out how to convert it to a beer/wine walk-in cooler.

...and convincing my wife it's a grand idea.

I can picture what my pantry will look like stocked with beer in my head. Beautiful. Of course there will be some commercial beer too. Should I stock by style or by country? If I can use the entire pantry, I'll be able to fit three times as much beer. I aint sure what I'll do with that much beer, but my goal is to fill it.

I wonder how I turn it into a big walk in refrigerator...

That's surprising. Dogfish head beers are all over the place down here.
