I haven't had the Hopwired IPA yet, let me know how it goes. 8 Wired brew some good beer tho. They just released the Super Conductor IPA which I had yesterday. It was yummy. They also brew one called The Big Smoke, which is a smoked porter. It is a very good beer. If you haven't tried a smoked ports, this is a good example.

I'm seriously having Red Racer withdrawals... I keep buying new IPA's trying to find something to replace it but it's just not quite right. Mind you I've only tried 3 or 4 so far.

Which ones have you had? I'll do some research later, after my draft tonight, and see if I can find some good ones that are available up that way.

Atomic Smash Bomb, Day Time, Pike XXX are the ones I've tried over the past week or so.

As far as IPA's I've had further back then a week, man there's too many... off the top of my head, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, a bunch from Phillips Hop Box (some are really good actually - only issue is half are great, other half are mediocre and it's hard to find them separate sometimes).

Geez I feel for you... is it legal to mail beer in Canada?

The Inversion IPA is probably the closest to the Red Racer that I've had but I don't know that it is any more accessible for you.

I remember you mentioning Hop Stoopid, the whole price point issue. You've had the Day Time and Hop Stoopid from Lagunitas, have you tried their Maximus? I really like that one myself.

I'll do some digging later and see what I can find.

Technically yes and no. I think you have to use DHL or something.

No Inversion IPA here either
