unbelievable. he was benched anyway for the one goal he scored but I'm not even going to comment on that injury. Is there ANY point keeping him? Girouxs on my IR and I'm against the team in first with 9-1 and I'm second with 8-2. I guess all I need is confirmation that he is actually injured and wont be back this week and I can be done with the headache

FYI... one article states that Havlat's injury might be more severe than we think (?): http://aol.sportingnews.com/nhl/stor...e-more-serious
I'm right with you man. I am very much a "what have you done for my lately" kind of guy. I dropped Hemsky this week due to his terrible play, less SOG and no PP time. Havlat would be next for me...low production, no fire in his play, and not scoring!! I'd rather pick up someone like Alfie, Erat, Voracek that are actually producing a point per game! My plan--hold him until Thursday and see what the prognosis is for Friday's game vs LA... if he's out, he's off my squad. He was already on my shit list after his season-starting injury....and I've been a little hesitant the last few weeks only b/c he was my keeper from last year (over Plekanec...doh!) Let me know what you think/plan to do

Dobber projected him for 66pts.
He's got 15 thru 26 some odd games = 47pts thru 82 games....

I hate Havlat and refuse to have him on my team just out of spite. I'd pick up Voracek or Ryder for sure over him. Voracek has been heating up a bit and Laviolette is rewarding him with ice time.

Wait! Hang on to him, you never know.....kidding. Seriously, another Havlat hater here. I watch lots of Sharks games as I have 3 myself. He's terrible, streaky, and wait for it.....one of the few players ever to injure himself clearing the boards on a line change.

Thought about this situation some more...
Havlat is obviously out for tomorrow's game, and I want to bet that the Sharks keep him out of Friday's game as well b/c with the holiday break coming up, I don't think the Sharks will rush him back if he can have 8 full days to get back to form for the 12/26 game vs ANA or 10 days to pay 12/28 vs. VAN...right?? Therefore, he's useless to me this week and if he stays DTD, no one will be picking him up unless they find (any or some) value in him and shelf him...but most likely than not, no one will even notice. Soo, because I'll have a RW slot available for Tues, Thurs & Fri night...I'm either going with Erat (vs. WSH COL DAL) or Alfredsson (vs. BUF FLA CAR) Suggestions? Always looking to bolster my PPP, Pts, and +/-....I'm leaning Alfie b/c he's back to playing well with Spezza (with Michelek out) & with Karlsson on the PP...
