I have a small lead in my h2h goalie stats.W-2-1, 2.62-3.39, .896-.883 do I play either of these guys or both or should I sit both tonight. Bachman @NJ, Reimer @Buf. Cats are W, GAA, SV%, SO. I need a GAA 2 or less and a SV% better than .900. I also have Vokoun on Saturday @Col maybe and Ward on Sunday @Fla maybe. He has Flurey @Buf and Niemi @Edm on Saturday. So dobber nation what do you think I should do.

I would sit Bachman. B2B situations on a far road trip like Dallas to NJ vary rarely turnout good for the travailing team. Add to that he is a rookie in is first such action I would sit him. Another good indicator in this match-up is that Dallas is a pretty big betting dog despite there better record. They know what there doing when they set the lines.
These things aren't always indicative of what will happen but they hold true more often then not.

Thanks guy's I'm still pretty torn what to do Tor dosn't usually fair very well in Buf and the point made about Bachman is interesting and I was thinking the same thing but I was also thinking like bOndon that it's so close I can't afford to sit them. Right at this moment I'm leaning towards starting just Reimer but I may start Bachman too. Oh man, I need this too, as my season so far has been a disaster with a pretty solid team. Anymore advice would be appreciated

Vokoun probably won't be playing on Saturday after Neuvirth put up that whale of a game last night. I really think you need to play both, for what its worth I would.
I'd rather lose because I played my guys than lose because I let them sit on the bench. That's just the way I look at it. More opinions here would definitely be nice though. |

Ya. I am wondering if I should start Reimer tonight as well. He did have 3 wins out of 4 vs Buffalo. But high sav% and GAA. Its a 50/50

I agree about sitting Bachman cause of the back to back. The Devils have been rolling lately too.

Well, I didn't see this coming. Hope you did end up benching Bachman.
For what its worth given the same scenario I would do it again. Just unfortunate how this panned out

First rule in picking your goalies, if there is a Vegas line that is out of wack listen to it. Your not paying any juice to bet on the favorite in Fantasy hockey. These guys know what there doing. The buildings keep getting bigger;-)
Sorry I wanted to tell you to bench Reimer to. But felt you needed to start 1.

Man bigbuda, I saw this a day late. Started Bachman should have known 3 in 4 days vs NY teams. Rookie, all the signs.
How did you know? NJ was a heavy fav? |
