My team is in the sig below. I am typically a very patient person especially with my goalies. However, I am beginning to crack. I also don't like to carry four tenders if I can help it but I have been chasing stats all season and it hasn't been working out too well for me up to this point. I clearly have the worst goaltending in our league and I am sitting in 5th place out of 10.

Not much out there on the FA front (Emery, Harding (hurt), Rask, Bachman to name a few). And it should be noted that in my league, trades are VERY rare. If I want to pry a goalie off of someone, I would have to blow them away with a one-sided offer that is clearly tilted towards them. And that brings me to my question - Should I consider sacrificing some offense to make a trade to bolster my goaltending? It would be painful but the gains in goal will probably be worth it.

So, hypothetically, given my roster - what kind of proposals would you consider? Who would be worth giving up for someone like Lundqvist, Luongo, or anyone that would help my cause?

I know it is a very open ended question. It may be more of a sanity check for me than anythiong else.

All your forwards are pretty good...
I'd probably try to work a trade where you give up a fwd AND one of your G for a decent goalie not elite.
Your tenders are not in a great situation except maybe Khabby so keep him and montoya and shop halak and ward along with Carter or Nash (overrated).

Quite a tough situation you have yourself there.

I like everything but your goaltending, which obviously, so do you..
I can't give you a solution sir, but can only tell you what I may do.

I really like Rask's stats. He has been rather stellar, and although he doesn't play as much at the moment, I still would rather his stats in a roto league *weekly setups a little less, but you have plenty of tenders, so guessing its a year roto.

Personally. I drop Goli, grab Rask and then try and combo Khabi and someone like Doan, or a step up in the starter field. That may still not be enough, so depending on your peripherals, I would try and identify your best name forward that you could deal without and package him with another tender for a Price or something in that manner. *sorry I can't be more specific.

Anyhow, that's my thought. You'd want to get another tender back and someone you couldn't care less about to drop for when Vis gets off the IR.

Only thing is that Halak and Ward may not fetch you much even with Carter or Nash is the only thing I could see.
I don't think anyone wants to touch Ward right now *you may be in a different situation, and he's at an all time low, so you'd get no real trade value.
Same with Halak, though stl has been playing EXcellent defensive hockey, and you'll be trading him away on the upswing, I'd chance at keeping him
Montoya is getting some good starts, but on a lousy defensive team at the moment, you may be able to get him off with a Carter/nash/doan for a mid-tier tender.. but if you're looking for an elite one, in my leagues anyhow, you'd probably have to part with Khabi and one of those 3 *(if that, you'd have to deal with the guys that have stellar goalie stats and low scoring)
