Gerbe suffered a laceration after taking a skate to the face late in Friday's loss to Detroit and will not play on Saturday, according to Bill Hoppe of MSG.

Recommendation: It was a cut from teammate Paul Gaustad's skate. The length and severity from a long-term perspective are still unknown, but he's definitely out of the frame for Saturday night.
