Silfverberg, Stone and Butler will be game-time decision, according to Sylvain St-Laurent, Sens beat reporter. Alfredsson is a go tonight.
Silfverberg could be in even if Alfie plays, says a lot about how good the organisation thinks he is. |

This could be an excellent opportunity to get the rookies some valuable playoff experience.

Based on his play last night. I'd say Silfverberg is ready to take a regular top 6 shift in NHL come October, but he's definitely NOT ready to jump in to game 6 of a playoff matchup.

Quote:
I can see them keeping him in for Game 7. The difference between him and the others (Butler, Stone) is small, and neither player will get a lot of ice time. Maybe they think he improves after his first experience of NHL, two days of rest, and adjusting to the time difference. Last night he was playing the game at like midnight. I don't think they bring him over to Ottawa if they didn't want to use him for the long haul. |

Game 7, 5 min left and Silfverberg is on a line with Spezza and Michalek. Not bad for a rook.
So how does he compare to Zibanejad? Which one would you want to own going into next year?
