The ticker is merely set up so that the forum members can view what else is going on in the hockey world and see tweets from DobberHockey contributors. I don't understand why you'd have an issue with it. Several of us on this thread are in touch with Dobber and we'll make sure the twitter feed stays.

It's a simple courtesy man, you don't see me complain when I get taken involuntarily to some random site via a drop down advertisement that takes up half the page out of nowhere should my mouse cursor accidentally go over it as this is how he supports himself via advertising, fine I understand. "Aaron Rodgers", "How many islanders were at a restaurant last night", and what someone ate for lunch I don't care about though and should be able to opt out of if I choose to.

Shut up and use that for the forum. If you do that there is nothing that you can whine about. You using this site is a priviledge, not a right, and that priviledge entails you using it the way it is designed by the OWNER. Deal with it.
