1. Tyler Bozak had one point in six games with Tim Connolly in the lineup. He has six in eight with him out of the lineup. While Connolly is hurt, Bozak traditionally lines up next to Lupul and Kessel.
2. Steven Stamkos has eleven even strength points this season. Only 2 of them had Martin St. Louis involved. Turns out he'll be fine without him. His PPP will likely suffer though. 3. Derek Stepan has been playing a regular shift with Slovak-superstar Marian Gaborik along with Yaroslavl native Artem Anisimov. Step has seven points in his last three games and has looked fantastic in each end of the ice. Playing with Gaborik may not last, but this kid has true promise and could be a 55 point player this season. (Only 16% owned on Yahoo!) 4. Dobber Darling Ryan Shannon played the last game lined up next to St. Louis and Lecavalier. He also played second powerplay unit time and could make a nice darkhorse pickup while Ryan Malone is on the shelf. 5. Stalberg played last game with Hossa and Toews on his line. He picked up an assist and a plus three. He did not see any powerplay time though. Makes a decent short-term pickup in a deep league. 6. David Clarkson 17 shots in 3 games without Kovalchuk in the lineup. He's played a good chunk next to Henrique and Parise and with no injury update on Kovalchuk, he's someone to keep an eye on. 7. Boston has 24 goals in their last four games. They moved from nearly the bottom of the league to third in goals per game. All of these players had four points or more in those three games: Seguin, Chara, Bergeron, Horton, Corvo, Krejci, Lucic and Marchand. Willing to guarantee that never happens again all season. 8. Erik Cole was one of many players in July who picked up a large amount of dough despite not coming close to the production of similarly paid players. He's missing Eric Staal as much as Eric is missing him, but has 38 shots in his last eight contests. If he keeps shooting this much and continues to play next to rising star Max Pacioretty, the points could begin to fly in. 9. Sergei Kostitsyn is perhaps the most frustrating player to own in fantasy. Last season he scored 23 goals and 27 assists while only taking 93 shots. This year, he is at three goals and eight points in eleven games while taking ten shots. Does he only shoot when he's guaranteed a goal? Since returning from his injury he has played 15:30 and 10:41. 10. Remember to give thanks to the veterans on today's Remembrance Day!

Quote:
Re Cole, he is playing GREAT, just exactly what we were looking for when we acquired him, and the points will come (and even if they don't, his value does not lie entirely with his point totals, far from it). Re 10, agree! Wear your poppies proudly, for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, in remembrance of the fateful day in 1918 when the world breathed a massive sigh of relief amidst the grief and sorrow.
