Holland had his first NHL point with an assist on a Cam Fowler goal, in his second NHL game. I don't think this guy is gonna be any superstar, but he's big and was a top notch scorer in junior. He works our with the Gary Roberts group in the off-season and, as I've mentioned before, could have a big opportunity if/when he takes over the second line role for Koivu. He could potentially play with Bobby Ryan if ANA decides to spread out there depth and is probably available in most leagues. Stash him away if you can, size and skill is there and the opportunity could join it sooner rather than later.

Now he got his first NHL pt, a goal on his 1st shot. He looks pretty good out there. Nice shot.

Update: Not sure if many have noticed but 25 pts in 27 games in his rookie AHL season so far. If his name was Hollandson or Hollandov, he'd have 20 separate threads by now. Good sleeper pick for next season given that there is room in the top 6.

Now has 50 pts in 57 games, good for top 25 AHL scoring. 7 pts in last 2 games. A little inconsistent it seems. Not much attention for this guy. Yet all the tools are there. I think if he was a Euro, his ranking would be higher.

Yup, he just came off of a 2g, 2a game the other night. Not a lot of players out there who make for a better sleeper. I don't think it will be too long until we see him full time in the NHL.
