How do you rank MDZ, McDonagh, Girardi, Staal?

MDZ is getting the PP time right now but the stats are almost dead even (except for Staal, of course)

This is a really tough read for me.

Perhaps something like MDZ > Staal > Girardi/Mcdonagh

I know I would definitely prefer to have MDZ over any other guy for pure offensive upside on the NYR blueline. He will certainly get his points at some point in the future.

I would go with MDZ then Mcdonagh, Girardi and then Staal.

Mcdonaghs been learning offense really well this year and I think its only a matter of time before hes a 35+ pt guy. Girardi/Staal are in such defensive roles that if the Rangers ever find a true powerplay quarterback to go along with Richards then they'll see almost zero opportunity on the powerplay.

DZ is ahead of everyone else. The others are safer as they don't have the risk factor of being a bust but they also were never touted as potential PP QB's ala MDZ.

I agree with the others, MDZ is ahead of the others by a fair margin. You should keep an eye on Stralman though, he may get some PP time, I'm not sure he would ever usurp MDZ though
