I think gaunce and ceci will be rising up the draft rankings as the season progresses.

Depends on where you rank Ceci and Gaunce right now.

Both players have had strong starts but I personally already had them ranked quite high in my November rankings (Gaunce @ 11th and Ceci @ 15th). Ceci will likely move up in the Dec. ranks if he continues his strong play.

- Pontus Aberg (F)
- Olli Maatta (D)
- Cody Ceci (D)
- Jordan Schmaltz (D)

I like all of the forwards I listed better than Frk and Maatta, Ceci, Schmaltz are better options at defense than Ebert (who is falling fast) and probably Pouliot too.

Your top ten pick should fetch you a good forward/defenseman
I haven't done enough research on the draft yet, but I do know about all those players. I just chose to mention the players I listed rather than those guys.

The reality is that it appears to be deep right now, but we need another 2 to 3 months before we can say that with any level of confidence.

The real issue in Entry Drafts is that they're usually a segregated tier structure after the first couple of picks. Meaning that from say picks, 4 to 15, many picks could be interchangeable. I see no reason to believe otherwise just yet. Don't mortgage the future for anything other than the first overall at this point.

You need another 3-5 years in order to determine that a draft is deep or not, IMO.

This isn't basketball or football where you know what you're getting from the players. These hockey players are 18. It's a crapshoot.

I agree with your second paragraph. Fantasy managers tanking because a draft is determine deep by the so-called "experts" are doing their team a disservice.

I wasn't positive which position he was, but I trust hockeydb for stuff like that.

Grigorenko is definitely a centre. HockeyDB is not reliable for positions IMO

According to the Quebec Remparts official site, he is a right winger.
